HERE'S A DRINK...

Well you've seen my two other posts, and this was in just ONE DAY!!! Well to round out another perfect day in the fabulous life of me, it was my l'il bro Crispin's B-Day Extravaganza!!! Tower Bar style!!! soundtrack provided by Thee Strychnine's... As usual the Curb Crushers were all in attendance to celebrate another of one our compadre's born day's, sans Price One who was doing the daddy thing... but sent his congratulations... So with shots in hand and a few go rounds on the punching bag, we did what we do best... and thats BICK IT!!! I'd like to thank all those who made it out to celebrate with us, and catch us there every Saturday turning and burning as we bring you the BEST music you wish you heard...And on that note...

INTERESTING & DUSTY THINGS...

After we left the skate jam, we headed downtown to our boy Stack's a.k.a Alyasha Owerka Moore's pad to meet up with Irons.
Now if you haven't been to Aly's before, let me tell you...dude has MAD things you DON'T have, I mean from custom made everything, to custom made everything...So I decided to take some close ups of some things he has sprinkled around the pad....
There seemed to be a dust bunny infestation, you might want to get an exterminator G...

BEST WAY TO SPEND YOUR DAY...

Yeah man...Got up Saturday morning and hit up my fellow Curb Crusher Issues. Word on the street was that a bowl contest was going down at the Clairemont YMCA and it was gonna be a heavy hitter session, so we scooped up another fellow Curb Crusher Mr. Stack Aly and made our way out to the spot, and let me tell you... WHOA!!! It was NO JOKE!!! everybody and anybody was there KILLING IT!!! But I have to say, my man Chris Miller tore it DOWN!!! and Hosoi was there!!! So our boy and fellow Curb Crusher, Crispin met up with us to partake in the days event, we saw some incredible shit + Dave Hackett's Layback Grind contest, that Hosoi ( no shit... ) won...but.... there was a 10 year old ( yes a 10 YEAR OLD! ) kid doing some very GROWN ASS laybacks, and got 2nd...I must give it up to the groms that day, because they were throwing the FUCK down!!!
making all us old dudes want to blow the park up... FOR REAL... So after the dust settled we made our way back DT to meet up with another fellow Curb Crusher... The illustrious Iron Mike, for some good ol' fashioned skateboarding CVS mini ramp style!!!
Even Stack's a.k.a " Dad " rolled out, so you know it was on...Oh did I mention it was Crispin's B-day??? To be continued...

Fresh off of a superbly received 2003 release, the Better Built Vol.1 was to be followed by The Better Built Vol.2 featuring may main man Dj Style but unfortunately, the polls started to shift and the Internet was download crazy, and cats were getting raided for MUSIC!!! So it got put on hiatus and never really saw the light of day...till now...

A lot of cats may be a tad thrown off when they visit my blog, peep the stee, or bug out on the fact that I don't go around preaching and trying to prove how " hip hop " I am... the truth is, I've been " hip hop " for more years than I can remember, and the cats I grew up with in Southeast San Diego could school the most seasoned of dudes East Coast or West, and thats WORD!!!

A DAY OF SKATE...

Curb Crusher style...Now that day light savings has kicked in we, know have a bigger window to get some skating done
considering that most of us don't get off of work until 5 o'clock...With that being said, I had to sit this day out due to a re - occurring rib injury, and my inability to avoid slamming on them while doing the most remedial trick... So I opted to just roll around and take some flics of the crew...here they are...Oh and The Curb Crushers would like to introduce to the Baby Crushers, Mr. Joel Alhambrah...tell your dad we said happy birthday...
